■Mission
The Stanford Japan Center-Research (SJC-R), as part of the Stanford Institute for International Studies (SIIS), seeks to contribute to the development of the Pacific region and international society through planning and execution of original policy-oriented research with respect to issues such as the information society, human security, and science and technology policy in cooperation with Stanford University and Japanese universities, public institutions, private enterprises, as well as Asian nations.
